Another busy year

Welcome back to everyone, we started back at the end of August and by now all swimmers should be back in training following the summer break.

As a club we have another busy year of competitions, training, fundraising and social events. The diary of competitions can be found on the Gala page and on the calendar to help plan the year ahead.

Long Course
Long course dates for Sunday training have been updated on the calendar for the year and will also be on the board in Caerphilly.  Can I remind swimmers that they have to swim the Saturday morning if in A squad or Friday night in B1, B to be able to train Long Course.

Club Championships
Club Championships will take place this weekend Friday 13th – Sunday 15th at Caerphilly leisure centre, warm up times are:
Friday 7.00 pm
Saturday 1.00 pm
Sunday 1.00 pm

Please can all swimmers be on poolside prompt to start warm up on time – you will need to have your club hat, tee-shirt and a towel poolside. Due to restricted space, can all bags be placed in the lockers available in the changing rooms.

All family members are welcome to join us over the weekend to support and encourage all swimmers.  Entry fee will be £3.00 pp with a programme and raffle.
There will be a swim shop available to buy club kit etc, and an opportunity to buy club shorts at a reduced price of £10.00, after the event they will be £16.00.

Training
All squad training sessions times and venues are available on the web site. A gentle reminder to all swimmers of the importance of being on poolside ready to warm up prior to the start of the session. Club hats are to be worn for training, and are available from Debbie Wallbank or Olga Fernandez.
