April 17th a Team of 40 swimmers from all squads took part in the Marie Curie Swimathon, covering a distance of 5km. All swimmers completed the whole distance that collectively took 4 hours.
There was a cake and tea sale in the cafeteria that raised over £100.00 to add to the monies raised by the swimmers for a very good cause. Can all swimmers please let me know how much their individual total so I can let James Arthur from Heolddu know the final total.
A big thanks you to parents that helped to count all the laps swam, and to all the swimmers for taking part – a great Team effort, Da iawn pawb!

For the Saturday morning session, you will need to bring your swimming kit as normal, together with Sports kit (Shorts, tee shirt, trainers) to be able to take part in strength and conditioning and a spare tee-shirt for the spin session.
You will also need to bring enough water for all 3 sessions and food to eat after the swimming part of the training, also something warm to wear home.
Early morning training on the Sunday is essential to gain the benefit of the land training. This is not optional for A squad swimmers, this is part of your training programme, and we are aiming to continue the strength and conditioning on a monthly basis.

The new club kit can now be bought straight from the supplier Swim Shop – Club kit is to be worn to and from competitions and on poolside, please don’t wear own clothes to competitions.
When purchasing the new kit, please don’t get any initials embroidered on until you are sure that it fits, as the supplier will not change once there are initials put on. This can be done at TSS sport shop in Caerphilly at a discounted cost.
